Non-profit organisation Consultancy
IT consultation for a large independent mental health non-profit organisation
Fentons were delighted to win a bid to provide a large non-profit organisation with a new IT system to provide communication and collaboration across the organisation
We also introduced an IT strategy to replace their hardware plus maintenance and support for the future.
At the time the company employed around 50 staff with the need for a platform to communicate and share information. As a growing organisation they required hardware to meet business needs, and a package to support this into the future.
“We were looking for a forward-looking IT company to provide a whole system approach to our needs, with a transparent and straight forward pricing structure to provide support when we need it most. Fentons have exceeded this brief and we now work with them on an ongoing basis.”
We were able to provide a whole system approach utilising low cost, non-profit Microsoft 365 pricing to configure: Microsoft Exchange Online for secure cloud-based email and Microsoft SharePoint Online for file and document sharing.
The non-profit subscription meant the worthy charity was able to save a considerable amount of upfront, and ongoing, costs.
The flexible cloud solution has provided the client with the ability to work on documents using SharePoint Online and access email using Exchange Online.
The team can now use a web browser to create, share and work collectively on documents stored in the cloud. This provides them with the ability to co-author documents and work on files simultaneously with the option to share and work on documents with external organisations.
